How To Join UAEA
Becoming a UAEA member is simple. Follow these four steps:
1. Confirm your eligibility
Most non-supervisory, non-sworn, non-classified employees with the City of Tempe are eligible for UAEA membership. If you’re unsure, you can contact Tempe Human Resources or check the City’s job classification list. Look for “NSU” in the Union Code column—these positions are eligible for UAEA representation.
2. Complete the membership form
Fill out the UAEA Membership Form. The form authorizes payroll deduction of your membership dues and provides the information UAEA needs to verify your employment with the City.
3. Send us your completed form
Email a copy of your completed form to membership@uaeatempe.com.
4. Look for your confirmation
Once we receive and verify your information, we’ll confirm your UAEA membership and welcome you to the association.
